I made this scrapbook for my Big Shot open house! It's made with the Scallop Circle Bigz die. I cut 2 scallops out of chipboard for the covers. Then cut 4 scallops using the printed paper from the Petal Party Simply Scrappin' kit. Since they are cut with the same die they fit perfectly over the chipboard covers, no need to trim edges or use a sanding block!
For the pages inside, I cut 5 scallops out of the coordinating textured cardstock that comes in the Simply Scrappin' kit. To embellish the pages, I used the self adhesive die cuts.
For the cover, I stamped the image from the Hostess level 1 set, "Punches Three" in Pumpkin pie, then punched it out with the Scallop square punch and attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals. A hole was punched with the Crop-a-dile so a ring could be added to hold the album together. Some coordinating ribbon, that I had in my stash, was tied on the ring.
All supplies are from Stampin' Up!
That is really pretty! It reminds me of spring! I should be getting this die soon I hope! And then I might try your idea.
