This is one of the projects everyone did at my Retirement Party in July. Finally I am posting the tutorial I promised. For this one I used a retired stamp set- Greetings galore and the retired Le Jardin designer series paper, but you can use anything you have on hand. It's pretty simple once you have the pieces cut out.
1 piece of cardstock (4 1/4" X 10 3/4") for actual card
Designer series paper- 1 piece at 4 " x 4" 1 piece at 1 3/4" x 4"
3 rectangles to layer for front embellishment- 1 piece at 2 1/2" x 3"
1 piece at 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" 1 piece at 2" x 2 1/2"
Adhesive, Stampin' dimensionals, Word window punch
Step 1. Score card at 4 1/4" and 8 3/4" as shown.
Step 2. Punch hole as shown using word window punch. Tip-put punch in as far as it will go. Make two punches aligning punch side to card sides.
Step 3. Adhere 4" x 4" designer series paper to the panel you just punched making sure the adhesive is only around the edge of the designer series paper. You want to make sure your gift card will slip in the slot easily. Adhere other designer series paper to small flap.
Step 4. Stamp desired image on smallest layer of cardstock, then layer on the coordinating cardstocks to complete your main embellishment.
Step 5. Fold card holding it with the small flap on top. Attach Stampin' dimensionals to bottom only of stamped layered embellishment and position it on the front of the card as shown in the first picture. The flap will tuck under your front embellishment to hold the card closed.
This is the card when it is open. You can stamp an inside sentiment or just write your own note.
All supplies are from Stampin' Up!

Great card girlie :-) wink wink!!
