I am trying Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge for the first time!
This is the layout that we have to base our creation on!
I didn't have any cupcake stamps, so I used half of the scallop circle punch and crimped a piece of creamy caramel for the base! The sentiment and the little stars came from the Eat Cake stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I added some twill tape, gingham ribbon & a clear button to embellish the corner. Seed beads were used to make "sprinkles"!
This is my first try at Beate's Sketch Challenge. I have a feeling it's going to be addicting. Now you know what I will be doing every weekend!
I used the Punch Box kit for the trio of flowers, sentiment and punched out flower.
A Not Quite Navy brad & white grosgrain ribbon complete the texture!

This is my first try at a Verve Visual Project Parade Challenge. I don't have any of their stamps yet so I stuck with the 5 petal punch, Felt fusion flowers, eyelets, ribbon & sentiment from the God's Blessings stamp set from Stampin' Up! It was a difficult color combo for me. I didn't like the Cameo Coral with it so I just sponged the edges of the So Saffron with it.

This is Kristina's 10th color challenge. I figured I would finally give it a try.
The colors inspired by this picture are Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, So Saffron, Bashful Blue & Whisper White.
Here is the card that I came up with. I used the Embrace Life & Define your Life stamp sets, eyelets and ribbon. Leave me a comment & let me know what you think!
I embossed the flowers with Not Quite Navy craft pad & Clear embossing powder then colored them in with Watercolor Wonder Crayons & an Aquapainter.

How cool is this?? I completed this acrylic album using Stampin' Up!s Afternoon Tea designer series paper, Rub-ons, Ribbons, Chipboard, Stamps & other embellishments. It's a little tricky to put together because you have to make sure none of your adhesive shows through the other side by attaching more cardstock. I think it came out great!!
I love the stamps in the Define Your Life stamp set!!

Here's a closeup of one of the chipboard flowers covered with the designer paper & layered with Choc chip scallop, Groovy guava circle, rub-on, button and ribbon.
This detail is a stamped chipboard piece (Sanded background) layered over designer series paper and adhered with brads.
It was Prom night for my son, Christopher on Thursday, 5/22. He is my 3rd child of 4 that is graduating from high school. I can't believe how fast time is zipping by!
I used my Cricut (Opposites Attract) to cut out the letters for the title with Blush blossom & Bordering Blue cardstock!
I used the small starburst stamp from the Baroque Motifs stamp set in Bordering Blue ink and a half ivory pearl from the Pretties kit to add the embellishments on the ivory organdy ribbon...
and the journaling square.
I found this shadow box frame in the clearance aisle at Michael's. It has a lift off lid and a hanger on the back.
I used Stampin' Up! rub-ons, Pretties kit & ribbon. I think it would look great with a sepia colored picture!
Here is a closeup of the SAB rub-on "Love & Happiness".
I had this satin ribbon rose hanging around with odd embellishments and it matched perfectly! It's threaded with a pearl & bead on a pin from the Pretties kit.
This card uses a piece of chipboard as the main embellishment. It's stamped with the swirls from the Background Basics stamp set, tied with the Purely Pomegranate stitched ribbon and layered on a summer sun circle stamped with the flower from the Just Like You set.
The saying is inked with the Summer Sun & Old Olive Stampin' Write markers and is from the All in a Row stamp set.
